When I am working out a lot and drinking a lot of water (like more than if I wasn't exercising) I will automatically gain some water weight. Is it possible that you might have had a higher sodium intake these past few days, paired with drinking more water and your body trying to hang on to it? I have had this happen to me many times where I will wake up the next day and have gained 3 lbs overnight! Try watching your salt intake these next few days, continue drinking water and working out and I can almost guarantee that you will lose those 6 plus some. Watch the diet soda too (not sure if you drink that.) If you do, I recommend having it around lunch time and just having sparkling (sodium free) water at night. Water weight is sooo sneaky. Working out is only helping you though so do not get frustrated...your body might just be feeling like it needs to hold onto as much as hydration as possible? Just some thoughts...but do not fret...it will all come off.

Also...I hope you aren't weighing yourself after you work out? Because if you are...that is the culprit as well. Weigh yourself first thing in the morning. I am sure you already know this!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
